Scenario:
Ash and the others, on their way to Mt. Silver, have stopped in the woods to take a lunch break. Misty and Brock make sure Larvitar is enjoying it’s meal, but it seems troubled for some reason. Then, they realize his meal is gone as Larvitar points to a bush that seems to be shaking! Then, and Elekid comes out, eating Larvitar’s meal! Misty and Larvitar get angry, and Pikachu gets ready to attack Elekid, but Ash gets in the way and get shocked himself by mistake J. Pikachu apologizes to Ash, and Ash says that they should deal with this without attacks. So, Elekid goes up to Larvitar, and they seem to have trouble getting along, but Elekid tries to talk it out with him.
Suddenly, a net appears from above, trapping Elekid and Larvitar! Ash looks up, and notices Team Rocket up in the balloon! Ash takes out Bayleef, and tries to cut the net with a Razor Leaf, but apparently the net is from steel cable, so it doesn’t work. Team Rocket laugh, and James has Weezing use a Smokescreen, distracting Ash and the others and escaping. Team Rocket are about to celebrate their victory over Elekid and Larvitar, but then Elekid uses a Thundershock, making the balloon pop, and fall. Elekid has escaped, but Larvitar is falling! Elekid makes sure Larvitar is ok, and does its best to catch him. Larvitar safely lands, as him and Elekid go look for Ash and the others. Ash and co desperately search for TR, but they have no luck.
They’re mainly worried about Larvitar. Suddenly, Brock notices something moving in the bushes. A Meganium comes out! Even more surprising to them, Casey appears also, glad to see Ash and co. Casey then starts going on about baseball and how she’s the third batter on her team. Then, Casey notices Ash’s Bayleef and starts going on about it, and asking annoying questions like why hasn’t it evolved yet, etc. Ash gets kinda annoyed and says that he likes Bayleef, and theres nothing wrong with it. She then gives Ash an annoyed look, and starts going on about how good Meganium is using baseball terms, which Ash barely understands. However, she then starts going on about how she saw a wild Elekid, and knew this was her chance, because not only is it striped yellow/black, but it can evolve into Electabuzz and she could have the spirit of her favorite team! She said she tried with all her might to capture that Elekid, but apparently she missed, and it ran away, which made her realy disappointed.
However, Ash says he thinks he saw that wild Elekid before… which gets Casey to start shaking him about it ask where, and then he says he last saw Team Rocket take it, which gets her to facefault. Suddenly, she gets really mad, and wants to find Team Rocket ASAP. Meanwhile, Elekid and Larvitar have just escaped TR, and are wandering in the woods. On the way, Larvitar motions to Elekid that he’s really hungry. So, Elekid leads him to an apple tree, and uses its Thundershock to take down 2 apples, for Larvitar. Larvitar thanks him, and Elekid tells him to be careful when eating an apple. However, Larvitar ate it quickly and easily, with no trouble, and thanked Elekid once again.
Meanwhile, Team Rocket are up in a tree on a lookout for Larvitar and Elekid. Meowth then gets an idea about bringing it to the boss, and starts fantasizing about him having Elekid and Larvitar, and him shaving his moustache with an Elekid-powered shaver, and just having Larvitar as a friend to remind him of Team Rocket… Yeah right, like that would ever happen. Suddenly, while everyone is busy fantasizing, Elekid and Larvitar happen to pass by again! Quickly, they take a net, and trap them. Elekid tries to use electricity, however the net is shock proof. Team Rocket start laughing their heads off, just as Larvitar lets out a Screech. Team Rocket can’t stand the sound, so they plug their ears tightly.
Apparently, the Screech echoed all the way so Ash and co could hear it. Just as they hear it, they see TR’s balloon pass by, holding Elekid and Larvitar, who are crying! Then, Larvitar notices Ash, and stops crying. Ksey decides to try to help, so she has Meganium use Razor Leaf, which easily knocks the net down. Then, Brock takes out Forretress, who jumps up in a Rapid Spin straight at the balloon, popping it and sending Team Rocket blasting off J. Afterwards, Ash and the others notice that Larvitar and Elekid are a bit hurt, for they fell from a cliff before. Ash and the others examine Larvitar for a bit, as Elekid shakes hands with Larvitar and walks off into the woods. Team Rocket have landed in the woods, and have just run into the Magikarp salesman from before! He’s about to sell James a Magikarp, but when he notices that he’s James, he tries to escape. However, James catches him and starts demanding his money back. However, he says he used it all up. James then gets really pissed, and starts telling him what they went through, in that shipwreck, being thrown into the sea and almost drowning. The man then laughs, and says he has a way to repay them. James gets really desperate now. The man then takes out a Weepinbell, and explains that it’s a special Weepinbell that can use Sweet Scent, and he could nab any Pokemon with it. James immediately jumps at the chance, and the man says he’s willing to trade that Weepinbell for any of Team Rocket’s Pokemon. Jessie and Meowth then sit beihind a bush and discuss who they should trade. They agree that it shouldn’t be Weezing, because he’s always been helpful with Smeokescreen. Also, not Wobbuffet, since it has a great Counter, and not Arbok either, because Jessie got it for her birthday when she was really young, and cannot part with it.
The only one left is Victreebel. James does have memories about Victreebel, and does have a great connection and attachment to it, but they cast a vote, and the majority (even Wobbuffet) vote for Victreebel to go. Crying, James gives his Victreebel Pokeball to the salesman, and takes the Pokeball with Weepinbell. James then realizes that he really misses his Victreebel, and starts crying over it. He tries to make himself feel better by taking out Weepinbell, but it just can’t be the same. However, Jessie and Meowth seem to like the new Weepinbell. But James then gets his memories of when he left it at the breeding center as a Weepinbel, and it evolved… and he’s been with Victreebel ever since. Jessie and Meowth get a bit annoyed, so they tell Weepinbell to use Sweet Scent. James then feels a bit better, and decides to try out the Weepinbell. He tells it to use a powerful aroma of Sweet Scent… Elekid happens to be nearby, and the scent seems to be affecting him! However, it doesn’t seem to affect Larvitar too much.
Meganium and Pikachu also happen to be affected by the Scent, and Togepi seems a bit confused as well. Brock also happens to sniff the air, and Casey sniffs it as well, and suspects a Sweet Scent. Misty then gets an idea, that Larvitar and Elekid are probably being lured as well, so they decide to follow Pikachu and Meganium. Meanwhile, Jessie and Meowth are on the lookout, and they happen to see Elekid pass by! It seems as if they’re strategy worked… Bet then they see Pikachu and Meganium coming, along with Ash and co! Ash and co then realize that the Sweet Scent that’s been attracting everyone is coming from Weepinbell. Ash then runs up to get Larvitar and Elekid, but just then they fall into a trap. Just after, everyone else falls into a separate trap as well! Team Rocket then grab Elekid and Larvitar, and leave! Casey then has a strategy… she has Meganium grab onto a branch, and climb out with everyone to face Team Rocket! Ash and co demand Larvitar and Elekid back, so Jessie takes out Arbok, followed by Casey taking out Meganium. James is about to take out Weepinbell, but then he remembers he’s used to being bitten.
Meowth reminds him that it’s a different Pokemon, so he calls it out J. Ash then takes out Phanpy, as Meganium uses Razor Leaf on Arbok. However, Arbok Headbutts Meganium back. Phanpy tries Body Slamming Weepinbell, but Weepinbell shoots out a Razor Leaf, which Phanpy easily dodges and goes for a Rollout! Weepinbell get a little damaged, but hurts Phanpy a lot with its Vine Whip. Suddenly, Weepinbell starts to glow, and evolves into Victreebel! James can’t believe it, as confidence builds up in Team Rocket. Meanwhile, Brock tries to get Larvitar and Elekid out of their net. He takes out Forretress, has it use a Rapid Spin at the net, which breaks, freeing Larvitar and Elekid! Although Ash was glad that Larvitar and Elekid are free, now Victreebel seems to be biting JESSIE. Everyone is surprised as Jessie struggles with Victreebel, and finally gets it off and kicks it so it lands on James.
Worried, James kicks Victreebel away before it could do anything, and it lands on Arbok, hurting him a bit. Jessie then tries to sneak over and grab Elekid and Larvitar, but Casey has Meganium attack with a few Razor Leafs, followed by a Solar Beam, which sends them blasting off! They land in the woods, and nearby is the Magikarp salesman with James’s old Victreebel. The old Victreebel immediately sees James and bites him, and at the same time Jessie is struggling with the new Victreebel biting her. Finally, around the same time, they each manage to throw their Victreebel off, knocking them into eachother. Just as they land, they look and each other, and… fall in love at first sight! The 2 Victreebel hold hands (or vines, in this case) and dash off into the woods and live happily ever after… at least as far as we know J. Back with Ash and co, Elekid and Larivtar seem to be great friends, but Larvitar seems a bit shy. Then, Casey challenges Elekid to a match. Elekid seems ready and prepared to battle! Casey takes out Meganium. Elekid starts out with a Thundershock, followed by Meganium countering with a Razor Leaf.
However, Elekid knocks them away with Thunder Punch! Meganium then goes for a Body Slam, which hits Elekid right on. Then, Meganium releases a Solar Beam, which does Elekid a lot of damage. Larvitar feels a bit sorry for Elekid. Anyways, Casey throws a Pokeball at the fainted Elekid, and captures it! However, Larvitar is a bit worried whether its ok, and Casey says it’s no problem, she’ll heal him at the nearest Pokemon Center. Later that evening, Misty congratulates Casey on her latest capture, and Casey thanks her, as well as show her badges. Apparently she has only 4, but she wishes her luck on the next 4 Gyms. Ash then tells her he’s on his way to the Silver convention, and Casey wishes him good luck! She then sings her Electabuzz song, and says her goodbyes to Ash and the others.
