Scenario:
It's just another ways to Mt Silver, and Larvitar is snoozing in Ash's backpack while the rest walk. Larvitar wakes up and Misty tries to say a "Good morning" but Larvitar gets a little scared. Misty's still wants Larvitar to get used to her, but it just doesn't look that way. Brock thinks that maybe getting Larvitar happy might help. Brock starts to make faces, but Larvitar starts to get so scared he starts screeching again. After a while, Ash tries to calm Larvitar down, which as always is successful. Maybe they can do a little sight-seeing to cheer Larvitar up. Brock mentions there's a river nearby that's supposed to contain a legend of some sort.
Far away from a distance, Team Rocket spies upon Ash and co. Ash seems to be excited to see this river as they watch him run by. As for Ash, he ignored Misty's warning of the place might being a little dangerous. Ash, Larvitar, and Pikachu slip down a sudden hill and rolls all the way down, stopping at a rock. Everyone's okay, and luckily for all of them Larvitar doesn't screech. Brock and Misty follow afterwards. On the bright side, Ash fell right to the place they wanted to go to. The place looks like a valley with a waterfall and a river, and all around are a bunch of Slowpokes and a few Slowbros. They all looked depressed for some reason. Brock notices an object sitting on one of the rocks, it's the King's Rock.
Ash heads for it but two people tell him to stop. It was a man and a woman, both look like archiologist and just beside them was a Slowpoke. They both introduced themselves, the man being Terisu, and the woman is Arisu. Arisu owns the Slowpoke which she nicknamed Asa. They've been studying the area for sometime, and around this time something's supposed to happen. Apparently that something hasn't just yet. They show the gang to a mural. It looks like the legend for this place. Basically one Slowpoke has to go through a test to get the King's Rock, once that one does, it becomes Slowking and basically leads all the others.
Ash wonders why Slowbros can't do this. Terisu explains that if a Slowpoke gets a Shellder on its tail, it becomes a Slowbro. But if the Slowpoke has the King's Rock AND a Shellder, it evolves into a Slowking. Ash also wonders about a heiroglyph that looks like a split path. Arisu nor Terisu know. After the explination, they get an encounter from two more people in costumes. It's Team Rocket (Obviously, this time) and they're objective is simple, get the King's Rock. Jesse and James sends out Arbok and Weezing to try to get it. Ash tells Pikachu to try to intercept them. Arbok tries to stop Pikachu with a few Poison Stings but Pikachu manages to dodge. However, Pikachu gets slammed down by Arbok and almost becomes a victim of its Wrap.
Just in the nick of time, Larvitar screeches real loud. (My, what violence for a child) This stops Arbok, but also affects everyone else. However, Asa doesn't seem affected. Asa simply walks over to Larvitar and taps it, cheering up Larvitar. Ash is happy to see that Asa isn't affected, but as for the Rockets, the flee for their lives.
Just a little while after, they notice a Slowpoke going up to the King's Rock. It looks simple, but soon something comes up from the water. It's a Shellder! It latches onto the Slowpoke's tail and becomes a Slowbro. So much for that. Arisu knows that the problem is that none of these Slowpoke can't get anywhere near the rock because those Shellder are too good for them. And because of that, all the Slowpoke and Slowbro aren't motivated enough until someone can do it. But none of the rest of the Slowpokes can do it... Soon Asa steps up.
Asa jumps across a few rocks before the Shellder start charging in. Asa simply just dodges the Shellder with surprising speed for a Slowpoke. But after that, Asa slips into the water! The Shellder think they have a good catch, but Asa goes into high speed by twirling its tail. Asa finally makes it to the rock with the King's Rock, but the Shellder keep coming. Just as they pop up, Larvitar screeches out. Sure, it's going hurt everyone, but Larvitar knows that Asa isn't affected. The Shellder fall down and Asa climbs back up. Finally Asa puts on the King's Rock as a Shellder comes out and bites it. Soon Asa evolves into a Slowking!
The celebration is short lived as Team Rocket comes in with their balloon. They fire a net, but Asa uses Confusion to force it back right at them! The net covers the balloon, but it's still not enough to take them out. They soon release smoke, but the smoke gets trapped and only surrounds the Rockets. Finally Asa blows them away with another Confusion and the Rockets can't do anything about it. Finally they crash into a cliff and thrown out. Pikachu makes a quick work of them with a Thunderbolt.
Soon Asa has to do the duties as the new leader for the Slowpokes and Slowbros. Asa turns towards the waterfall and soon splits it apart with another psychic move. An opening forms up on the other side. Arisu sees that this was that split in the heiroglyph. Asa starts to lead the party into the cave. On the otherside is a large cavern, basically your underwater lake and forest place. The Slowpoke and Slowbro finally relax here. The people head out as well as Asa, for a while. Arisu and Asa have to part, since Asa has to stay. It's a little hard for Arisu, since she's been with Asa since she was little. But soon Arisu gets over the fact that Asa is now a leader. Asa soon walks off back into the cave.
