Scenario:
Last time, Ash, Misty, and Brock helped Clair make sure her Dratini made a safe journey to a place where the purifcation could be made. Along the way, Clair's Dratini evolved when faced with Jesse and James. After the whole deal was done, Ash asked Clair to a match.
Being this is the last gym match before the Johto championship, Ash knows this isn't going to be a bed of roses. The rules are like every other match, two Pokemon, no time limit. Clair starts off with her Kingdra. Ash knowing that this is a water Pokemon sends out Pikachu. Pikachu starts the match with a Thunderbolt. Kingdra is affected, for a while. Kindra shakes off the electricity is doesn't seem any worse than it was. Clair tells Kingdra to shake Pikachu up with a Whirlpool. Kingdra soon summons up a giant whirlpool straight from above the water's surface! The whirlpool goes after Pikachu, even though it's not touching the water. Pikachu has no way around it and soon gets swallowed up. Despite this thought, Pikachu escapes just about as well as Kingdra did.
Ash decides to go over brawn over rethinking and tells Pikachu to give Kingdra a Thunder attack. Same effect, the Kingdra counters with a Hydropump. Finally Clair tells Ash that Kingdra isn't going to be affected by Pikachu's shocks, mainly because of one thing. Brock gets the idea, and tells Ash that Kingdra is part Dragon as well. This means electric attacks aren't going to scratch Kingdra no matter what! If that's the case, then Pikachu has a few more things up his sleeve than electricity. Ash tells Pikachu to give Kingdra a Quick Attack, but Kingdra's too strong for that.
Jesse sulks from the last incident, not being able to get Dratini really put her down. Not to mention it evolved, it just seemed to lose the cuteness factor. James tries to cheer Jesse up with a suggestion, but still Jesse won't budge. Meowth comes by with a plate of dumplings, saying they could chow down and think of a plan then. Meowth soon mentions about the Dragon's Fang. If they can get it, they can do whatever they want, since it's Clair's most valuable item. While they were chatting though, something swiped all the dumplings. Wobbuffet notices and gets all scared. It soon looks around to see who did it. Jesse continues on talking until she reaches over for another dumpling. Noticing the plate is empty she starts yelling at James and Meowth for taking them. But both of them deny it, then they look at a suspicious looking Wobbuffet and gives him an evil glare. They soon jump on him.
Seeing that most of his Pokemon are useless, but also there being one chance, Ash recalls Pikachu. He sends out Noctowl in hopes to knock out Kingdra. Noctowl uses Confusion to liftt the Kingdra out of the water and toss it around a bit, but Clair tells Kingdra to use its Hydropump to stop it from slamming into anything. Ash tells Noctowl to try Foresight next, but Kingdra is able to move swiftly enough for Noctowl that it can't get a lock-on.
As for the Rockets, they managed to get to the building where the Dragon Fang is held. A small place, with a easy to pick lock. They open the doors and see that the fang looks too easy to snag. James warns Jesse and Meowth before going on and puts on some goggles. The place is flooded with infrared lasers. Jesse and Meowth are a little depressed but James gets out his Magic Han. (basically that extending hand they use for Pikachu) He soon uses it to slip past the lasers and grab the Dragon Fang. James gets a grab and hurries it back to them. After they get a hold of the box, but Wobbuffet pops out and makes them all fall through the lasers.
The alarm is set off and the match is stopped. Clair knows one thing and everyone goes out to the building where the Fang was kept. They see the Rockets with the case, but they soon run off. Clair and the others chase them down to a pier, where the Rockets steal a speed boat and head off. Clair calls out her Dragonair, while Ash and Misty sends out Totodile, Staryu and Politoed to help them chase the Rockets. The old man from before also wants to come along, seeing that partly this is his deal.
The Rockets are off to a good start, but everyone else is right on their tails. They soon see an opening to a cave and decide to go in hopes to lose them. Clair and the rest follow, but the cave's to dark to see. Dragonair lights up the place but it only gets worse, there's a split. As for the Rockets the happily go through the cave, that is until they hit the otherside, a waterfall!
On the outside at the other entrance to the cave is a field with lots of Pokemon roaming around. With all these Pokemon, a Dragonite rests in the middle of the field. Hearing the screams of the Rockets, he looks up and sees them falling. He soon flies up to catch them before they hit the bottom. The Rockets are a little surprised though, but relieved. They think for a moment after the Dragonite sets them down, maybe they could use him to take care of Clair and Ash? They're also a little paranoid about Dragonite thinking they stole the Dragon Fang, so they go on with finding a way to get this Dragonite on their side. They start telling lies about Clair and Ash chasing after them because their after the Dragon Fang. If they ever get here, then they'll wreck this field just to find it. And they go on about how mean they were to them, etc. The Dragonite believes their story and agrees to help them with whatever it is.
Clair's group and Ash's group make it to the field, but see no sign of the Rockets. Both groups decide to split up to cover more ground. Ash and co. wander closer to the Rockets, who were hiding in a bush with the Dragonite. Jesse says that that's who was chasing after them and the Dragonite gives Ash and co. a Hyperbeam to start off. Ash and everyone gets some cover while the Dragonite fires another beam. Clair catches up with them, but soon the Dragonite picks up the Rockets and heads off. Everyone's a bit surprised at why the Dragonite is helping Team Rocket. However, everyone notices something else in the distance coming to them...
